General comments
Meest frequente verwekker: coagulase negatieve stafylokok.
Na verwijderen van lijn/infuus, zijn antibiotica niet geïndiceerd. Indien antibiotica toch geïndiceerd zijn en verwekker of gevoeligheidspatroon (nog) niet bekend, is het advies om te starten met vancomycine IV.
