General comments

Tobramycine in principe eenmalig (in afwachting van kweekuitslagen)
Bij volwassen patienten met morbide obesitas doseer op Adjusted Body Weight: ABW = IBW+ 0.4 *(TBW-IBW). Zie ook MD calc Ideal body weight and adjusted body weight
Op geleide van kweek wordt therapie aangepast
Duur behandeling na perforatie tractus digestivus is 2 tot 6 weken, afhankelijk van uitgebreidheid perforatie/lekkage, eventuele abcesvorming en drainage mogelijkheden
